Opening up Research

Opening up Research

A collaboration promoting open research at The University of Manchester

‘Opening up Research’ is a collaborative effort involving the Office for Open Research, the School of Engineering Open Research Lead, representatives from the United Kingdom Reproducibility Network (UKRN), and Cancer Research UK Manchester institute.

Our aim is to promote and facilitate open research initiatives and practices within The University of Manchester. We recognise the importance of transparency, inclusivity, and collaboration in research, and we are committed to creating an environment where these principles thrive.

Open Research Programme 2023/24

We’ve planned a series of open research events for the academic year 2023/24, designed to engage and inspire our research community regarding open research practices. The events are open to all University staff, including professional services staff, postgraduate researchers, and early career researchers.
